Gravity type caisson wharf and construction method thereof

The invention discloses a gravity type caisson wharf and a construction method thereof. The gravity type caisson wharf comprises a foundation bed, a caisson, backfill materials, an upper part structure of the wharf and a plurality of positioning cast-in-place piles, wherein the foundation bed is laid on a river bed, the caisson is installed on the foundation bed, an inner cavity of the caisson andthe position of the caisson and a river embankment are filled with the backfill materials, the upper part structure of the wharf is arranged above the caisson and the backfill materials, and the multiple positioning cast-in-place piles are fixed to the river bed; positioning pile holes are formed in the bottom of the caisson; and the positioning cast-in-place piles penetrate through the foundation bed and are connected into the positioning pile holes for positioning the caisson. According to the gravity type caisson wharf and the construction method thereof, the caisson offset can be greatlyreduced, the increasing of
