The chemical composition of the hydride is LiMg(BH4)(AlH4)2 or LiMg(BH4)2(AlH4) or a mixture of the LiMg(BH4)(AlH4)2 and the LiMg(BH4)2(AlH4); and the preparation method comprises the following steps: weighing and taking LiBH4, LiAlH4 and MgCl2 powder according to a certain molar ratio, and performing mixing; and performing ball milling treatment on the mixed powder by adopting a planetary ball mill.
