Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a programmable flow measurement method for a protocol-independent forwarding network. A controller issues a message to a switch to transmit a flow definition field set and a protocol-independent forwarding instruction sequence; the controller issues flow entries to the switch, the switch executes a message measurement instruction sequence, flow identifiers are used as input parameters of the message measurement instruction sequence, and the instruction sequence modifies an instruction accessible global storage space which stores flow attributes; the switch generates ameasurement report and sends the measurement report to a flow collector, wherein one or more pieces of flow information are contained in the measurement report, and a programmable attribute of each flow is obtained by executing a report generation instruction sequence; the flow identifiers are used as input parameters of the report generation instruction sequence, and the programmable flow attributes are output parameters |
