The invention relates to the field of early warning for electric power operation, and particularly discloses a safety early warning system for electric power operation which comprises a control module, and a detection module and an alarm module which are electrically connected to the control module. The control module is preset with a plurality of safety distance ranges for different voltage levels, automatically selects the safe distance range corresponding to the voltage level according to the received detection signal, and is used for judging whether the current distance is within the selected safe distance range or not according to the detection signal. If the current distance exceeds the safe distance range, the control module sends a starting signal to the alarm module, wherein different levels of the starting signal correspond to different safety distance ranges.
