The invention provides a portable device for collecting a rusted bar electromagnetic sensor signal and a using method thereof. The portable device comprises a data collection system, a capacitance screen and a shell, wherein the data collection system comprises a circuit board; the circuit board is electrically connected with a single-chip microcomputer; the single-chip microcomputer is used for converting the collected electromagnetic sensor signal; the data collection system is externally connected with an electromagnetic sensor through a data interface; the capacitance screen is electrically connected with the single-chip microcomputer, and displays a digital signal on the capacitance screen; and the shell is used for protecting the data collection system and the capacitance screen.
