The liquid-gas self-cycle steel rail cooling device is characterized in that the cooling device comprises a heat collector and a condenser, wherein thermally conductive liquid with a boiling point lower than a temperature peak value of a steel rail is stored in the heat collector, the condenser comprises a heat storage layer and a reflux container, and the heat collector is connected with the condenser through a connecting conduit to form a liquid-gas circulation loop.
