The invention discloses a discontinuously milled wool product and a production method thereof. The production method comprises the following steps: enabling yarns subjected to tube splitting and warping to continuously pass through at least one group of first padding mechanisms, wherein each group of first padding mechanisms is used for configuring the same or different anti-shrinkage agents; controlling the padding length of the corresponding anti-shrinkage agents on the yarns and the length of the padding gap by controlling the yarn passing length when the first padding mechanisms perform padding and the yarn passing length when the first padding mechanisms do not perform padding; and preparing the wool product by using the discontinuously padded yarns and milling to obtain the discontinuously milled wool product with three-dimensional concavo-convex feeling.
