The invention provides a cutter automatically disengaging assembly after cutting by a wood door two-way edge cutting device. The assembly includes a movable block. A lead screw is threadedly connectedto the horizontal position of the movable block. A through hole passes through the center of the bottom of the movable block. Guide grooves are embedded in the two sides of the inner wall of the through hole. A fixed plate is fixedly connected to the bottom of the movable block. The lower side of the front end of the fixed plate is provided with a sliding groove. A connecting rod is movably connected to the inner wall of the through hole. Guide blocks are fixedly connected to the two sides of the top of the connecting rod. Since an inclined plate and a supporting rod are perpendicular to eachother, when the inclined plate is in contact with a wood door, the support rod on the inclined plate is subjected to an upward force and acts on a fixed rod, and so the top of the support rod is embedded in an embedded groove
