The method includes the steps of: (1) making silage raw material: selecting fresh whole-plant wild reed at the later stageof growth as the raw material, and cutting the raw material evenly into segments for standby use; (2) adding lactobncillus bulgaricus: adding 0.1-10g of lactobncillus bulgaricus into per 1Kg of the segmented silage raw material; and (3) fully stirring the substances, then filling the mixture into a silage container, conducting compaction and sealing, and performing storage at room temperature for60-90d. The preparation method is simple, easy to operate and has high production efficiency. The preparation method can effectively improve the total content of organic acid in silage reed, reduce the content of ammonia nitrogen, and enhance the fermentation quality and nutritional value, thus being conducive to improving the soft texture of reed and enhancing palatability, and provides data reference for reed resource u
