The method comprises the following steps that firstly, to-be-detected lenses are placed in a to-be-detected workpiece tray, a loading and unloading device is used for taking a first to-be-detected lens from the to-be-detected workpiece tray and transferring the lens to a to-be-detected station; secondly, the loading and unloading device takes a second to-be-detected lens and places the second to-be-detected lens tothe to-be-detected station after transferring the first to-be-detected lens on the to-be-detected station to a detecting station; thirdly, the loading and unloading device completes the taking actionafter moving the lenses to a qualified product station and completes the placing action after moving the lenses to the to-be-detected workpiece tray; and fourthly, the second and third steps are repeated until all the to-be-de
