HDR scene detection method and system

The invention provides an HDR scene detection method and system. The method comprises the steps that an interest region of a preview image in a current scene is extracted; according to area and brightness information of the interest region, a first HDR value of the preview image is determined; and whether or not the current scene is an HDR scene is judged according to the first HDR value.
