Zusammenfassung:Motor vehicle lighting device (1) comprising at least one light source (2), an optical device (3) which is assigned to the at least one light source (2) and in which light of the at least one light source (2) is input, and an optical imaging system (6) which is assigned to the optical device (3) and which images light exiting from the optical device (3) in front of the motor vehicle lighting device (1), wherein the optical device (3) is configured to focus the light of the at least one light source and to deflect it in the form of at least two spatially separate light beams to the optical imaging system (6), and the optical imaging system (6) is configured to project the light beams in the form of two light distributions in front of the motor vehicle lighting device (1), specifically in the form of a main light distribution and a sign light partial light distribution, wherein at least one shutter (5) which is arranged perpendicularly with respect to an optical axis (4) of the optical imaging system (6) is arr
