AXIAL FLOW TURBINE HAVING A DIAPHRAGM SPLIT IN TWO HALVES AT A HORIZONTAL JOINT PLANE

An axial flow turbine comprising a casing (14), a rotor (12) having an axial rotational axis (Z) and rotatably mounted into said casing (14),at least one set of a plurality of moving blades (16) supported by said rotor; and at least one diaphragm (18) having an outer ring (22), an inner ring (24), concentric to the outer ring, and a plurality of static blades (26) mounted therebetween, at least said outer ring (22) being split in an upper half (22a) and a lower half (22b) along a vertical joint plane (P).
