DEODORIZING DEVICE AND DEODORIZING FILTER

The present invention provides a deodorizing device wherein a granular deodorizing agent is able to be efficiently irradiated with ultraviolet light; and a deodorizing filter. This deodorizing deviceis provided with a deodorizing filter (3) and an ultraviolet light source (5). The deodorizing filter (3) is provided with a granular deodorizing agent (6) and a casing (7) having a wall that forms acompartment (7a) in which the deodorizing agent (6) is contained. The ultraviolet light source (5) irradiates the deodorizing filter (3) with ultraviolet light.
