The invention discloses a tensile and shear test device for rock. The tensile and shear test device comprises a base erected with a supporting frame, an upper and lower split type shear box with the lower part embedded into the base, a tension loading mechanism hung on the supporting frame, provided with a tension sensor on an output shaft a and used for vertically acting on a rock test sample inthe shear box through a box type end face rolling bearing mechanism, and a shear force loading mechanism mounted on the supporting frame or the base, provided with a shear force sensor on an output shaft b and used for horizontally acting on the side wall of the upper part of the shear box, wherein an acoustic emission sensor is mounted on the inner wall of the shear box; an axial displacement sensor is arranged between the tension loading mechanism and the box type end face rolling bearing mechanism; a transverse displacement sensor is arranged between the shear force loading mechanism and the shear box.
