Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a lithium iron phosphate/silicon carbide composite material and a preparation method thereof. A general formula of a compound contained in the material is LixFeyM1-yPO4.aLi3Fe2(PO4)3, wherein x is more than or equal to 0.90 and less than or equal to 1.1, y is more than or equal to 0.9 and less than or equal to 1, and a (mass ratio) is more than or equal to 0.01% and less than or equal to 5%; and silicon carbide coats the compound, and content of silicon carbide is 0.1-10% of the total mass of the material. The material provided by the invention adopts silicon carbide coating for replacing the conventional carbon coating, the prepared material is higher in density and smoother in particle surface and has good processability, high compaction density and excellent electrochemical properties, and a synthesis method is simple and easy to control.
