The invention relates to a method and device for determining positions of reference nodes in a mobile sensing network. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining data intersection points between various data acquisition nodes in the case of simulating the deployment of the reference nodes at various alternative reference positions; generating an intersection point connection diagram according to the data intersection points between various data acquisition nodes, wherein the intersection point connection diagram is used to indicate edges between various data acquisition node; and based on the intersection point connection diagram, determining the positions where the reference nodes are actually deployed from various alternative reference positions.
