The method comprises the following steps: firstly, a composite diluent and an ethylene-trifluorochloroethylene copolymer are mixed at a high temperature, and then the ethylene-trifluorochloroethylene copolymer hollow fiber microporous membrane is prepared by utilizing a thermo-induced phase separation method. The ethylene-trifluorochloroethylene copolymer hollow fiber microporous membrane provided by the invention has a cross section which shows a uniform spongy structure, and is suitable for being used as a hollow fiber membrane.
