The invention discloses a lathe with a rapid grinding wheel press mechanism. The lathe comprises a press installation base and two or more press assemblies. Grooves which are matched with the press assemblies and an installation hole which is used for being matched with a grinding machine main shaft are formed in the press installation base. Each press assembly comprises a rack, a gear, a handle,a connecting block, a connecting rod and a press block.
