The embodiment of the invention provides an application control method and device applied to terminal equipment. A camera device is arranged in the terminal equipment, the application control method comprises the following steps: receiving a first instruction input by a user; acquiring a first image collected by the camera device if the first instruction is a long-press instruction; determining anidentifier of a page corresponding to a first object if identifying the first object in the first image, and displaying the identifier of the page; and performing shooting through the camera device if the first instruction is a click instruction.
