Zusammenfassung:	Provided are a sound source locating and identifying device and method. The sound source locating and identifying device comprises a plurality of sound sensors used for sensing sound signals of a target sound source, an external trigger camera used for shooting images, an electric rotating mechanism used for rotating the external trigger camera to adjust the orientation of the lens thereof, and acontrol and signal processing unit used for receiving and processing the output signals of the sound sensors to obtain the azimuth information of the target sound source and controlling the rotation of the electric rotating mechanism according to the azimuth information and further used for controlling the shooting of the external trigger camera and receiving and processing an image output by theexternal trigger camera to obtain the type of the sound source.
