The method is characterized by comprising the following steps of: 1) extraction of fault signals; 2) signal decoupling; 3) detection of mutation points of a traveling wave in a fault 1 mode; 4) optimization of a wave velocity; 5) determination of a faultsection; 6) distance measurement for faults.
