Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a glass plate which has superior UV transmission-blocking characteristics, has low to moderate-level of visible light transmittance, is relatively thin, substantially blocks transmission of UV from sunlight, and has superior solar radiation-blocking characteristics. The glass plate according to the invention has a thickness of 1-5 mm, a Tuv380 of 1.5% or less, a Tuv400 of 2.5% or less, a visible light transmittance (YA) of 5-40%, and a solar radiation transmittance (TG) of 5-45%, and comprises, in addition to a predetermined matrix composition, a glass composition containing, by mass, 1.0-5.0% of T-Fe2O3, 1.0-5.0% of TiO2, and 50-600 ppm of CoO, as coloring components, wherein the FeO proportion is 5-40%, and the sum of TiO2 and twice of T-Fe2O3 is 7.0% or more.
