Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a housing for passive optical components, such as optical fibres, couplers, splices. The object is to develop a housing in which coupler and splice fastenings can be arranged for variable fitting while ensuring the conventional assembly dimensions, and which ensures a clearly laid-out, easy to service, and reliable guide of the optical fibres while observing the minimum bending radii. This object is achieved in that there are provided on an end face 4 of the lower part 2 of the housing strain-relieving individual guides 5, 6 for the optical fibres and an S-shaped groove 20 which is integrated in the base, in that holders 12, 13 for couplers 45 and splices 46 are formed in the central region 11 by guides 24, 33 connected to the base 10. Fibre-guiding channels 26, 36 are provided between the side walls 27, 35 and the holders 12, 13 to obtain the required spare lengths. Continuous lifting-out openings 30, 38 are incorporated in the base 10 in the region of the holders 12, 13 transverse to the parallel guide 24 of the couplers 45 and the splices 46. |
