Zusammenfassung: | The invention belongs to the field of preparation of solid acids and relates to a method for utilizing waste tires to prepare cation exchange resin. The method comprises the following steps that 1, steel wires are drawn out from waste tires and are crushed into grains of 0.2-1.5 mm; 2, an organic solvent is adopted to extract and remove low molecular hydrocarbon type substances in the waste tire grains, dilute acid is adopted to remove inorganic salt and metallic oxide, and drying is performed; 3, the waste tire grains dried in the step 2 are sulfonated, washed and dried in a sulfonating reagent to obtain the cation exchange resin, wherein the sulfonating temperature is 0-150 DEG C, and the sulfonating time is 0.5-24 hours. The obtained sulfonating is high in exchange amount, the raw materials are low in price, the preparation process is simple, and the environmental pollution problem of waste tires is solved.
