Automatic transmission

Disclosed is an automatic transmission that suppresses deterioration of sound and vibration performance. The automatic transmission (1) has an oil cooler (20), an electric oil pump (21), and a gear shift mechanism (2). The gear shift mechanism has a primary pulley (3), a secondary pulley (4), and a power transmitting member (5) wound around the primary pulley and the secondary pulley. When viewedfrom the direction of a rotation axis (X1), a vertical line (V1) passing through a rotation axis (X1) which is the axis center of the primary pulley is located between a vertical line (V2) passing through the rotation axis (X2) which is the axis center of the secondary pulley and the oil cooler. The vertical line (V1) passing through the rotation axis (X1) of the primary pulley is located betweenthe vertical line (V2) passing through the rotation axis (X2) which is the axis center of the secondary pulley (4) and the electric oil pump.
