A transmission actuator (1) has an adjustment unit (2) for translating and rotationally moving a switching shaft (3); the switching shaft has a first actuating mechanism (4) fixed on the switching shaft and used for actuating a first gear set device, and a second actuating mechanism (5) fixed on the switching shaft and used for actuating a second gear set device. The first actuating mechanism (4)is arranged on one side of the adjustment unit (2) and the second actuating mechanism (5) is arranged on the other side of the adjustment unit (2).
