The anode clamp comprises a clamp front end and a clamp back end, wherein the clamp front endis a conductive head; the clamp back end is a conductive arm; the clamp front end is prepared from the following ingredients of 0.5 to 4 weight percent of C, 1 to 4 weight percent of Ti, 0.1 to 1.0 weight percent of Mn, 0.1 to 1.0 weight percent of Ni, 0.5 to 3 weight percent of Cr and the balance of Fe.
