The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a plurality of watersample image samples; constructing corresponding neural network models based on the water sample image samples; collecting and acquiring a current water sample image; determining a recognition resultof the current water sample image according to the neural network models; and transferring the recognition result to a remote terminal to detect water quality in real time. The method provides the water sample detection result by recognizing the water sample image.
