Method and system for monitoring water supply pipe network

The invention discloses a method and system for monitoring a water supply pipe network. The method comprises the following steps of: making a node diagram of the water supply pipe network; obtaining friction coefficients of water supply pipelines and filling the friction coefficients into the node diagram of the water supply pipe network; installing pressure monitoring equipment at the pump station outlet and pipe network end of each pipeline, installing first flow monitoring equipment at the pipe network end of each pipeline, and acquiring information of the pressure monitoring equipment andthe first flow monitoring equipment in real time; substituting the instantaneous flow value, pump station outlet pressure value, pipeline diameter, length and friction coefficient of the current pipeline into an endpoint pressure calculation formula to obtain a first pressure value; detecting whether the error between the first pressure value and the pipe network end pressure value of the currentpipeline is within a set e
