Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to an oil separator (4) for separating oil from aerosol in a combustion engine (1), comprising a housing (5) having an inlet opening (11) for the aerosol, an impeller (9) which can be rotatably driven about a rotational axis, and which is adapted for generating an aerosol flow along an axial direction of the impeller (9) and arranged in the housing (5), and an impact wall (15) which is designed in such a way that a projection of the impeller (9) oriented axially and downstream in the air flow impinges on the impact wall (15), wherein at least one part of a projection of the impeller (9) oriented axially and downstream in the air flow impinges on the inlet opening (11).
