Embodiments of the invention disclose a distributed system based communication method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium. A distributed system includes at least two hosts, and eachhost has multiple nodes. The method includes the following steps: any current node in the distributed system receives topology messages broadcast by other nodes, wherein the topology messages at leastinclude message topics for to-be-sent service messages and message topics for subscribed service messages; the current node determines at least one target node from other nodes according to the topology messages, wherein the message topics for the service messages to be sent by the target nodes are the same with the message topics for the service messages subscribed by the current node, and/or the message topics for the service messages subscribed by the target nodes are the same with the message topics for the service messages to be sent by the current node; and the current node sends the service messages to each tar
