A method and apparatus for generating a traceability document are disclosed. The method comprises the following steps of: obtaining a file to be downloaded in response to a user operation; acquiring user information to generate user data; writing the user data into the file to be downloaded through the least significant bit algorithm to generate a download file; and sending the downloaded file tothe user.
