The protein can generate active sesquiterpenoid synthase after prokaryotic expression, catalyzes FPP (farnesyl pyrophosphate) orGPP (geranyl pyrophosphate) to generate multiple sesquiterpene or monoterpene compounds and can be used for mass production.
