Zusammenfassung: | When a telecommunication terminal (101) initiates a conference call, it first establishes low speed data links with each of the other telecommunications terminals (104,106) that are to be part of the conference. When all users of the other terminals (104,106) are ready for the conference, the other terminals (104,106) signal the initiating terminal (101) which then adds the necessary bandwidth to establish a multimedia telecommunication conference call. Since the conference call is already set up, the initiating terminal (101) only has to add the necessary bandwidth to conference call. Each participant in the conference call designates when they are ready for the conference call to start, or may choose not to take part in the conference call. |
