According to the present invention, a permanent magnet to be inserted in a permanent magnet hole formed in a rotor core is fixed by an interposed member, and the interposed member is intended for inhibiting temperature rise in the permanent magnet by preventing the permanent magnet from exiting the permanent magnet storage hole of the rotor core and by decreasing the thermal resistance from the magnet to the rotor core.
