INPUTTING IMAGES TO ELECTRONIC DEVICES

A computing device is described which has a memory storing text input by a user. The computing device has a processor which is configured to send the text to a prediction engine having been trained topredict images from text. The processor is configured to receive from the prediction engine, in response to the sent text, a plurality of predictions, each prediction comprising an image predicted asbeing relevant to the text. The processor is configured to insert a plurality of the images into the text on the basis of criteria comprising one or more of: ranks of the predictions, categories of the images, rules associated with one or more of the images, user input, and a trigger word.
