The method comprises the following steps: determining the pixel distance between the camera and the image plane according to the field angle of view of the camera and the preset resolution of the image captured by the camera; determining imaging coordinates of a left eye and a right eye of a viewer in the image plane, respectively, in a horizontal plane perpendicular to the image plane; calculating a first angle at which the left eye deviates from theoptical axis of the camera and a second angle at which the right eye deviates from the optical axis of the camera according to the pixel distance and the imaging coordinates; determining a spatial position of the left eye and the right eye based on the first angle, the second angle, and the actual pupil distance of the left and right eyes.
