The invention comprises the following steps: establishing a three-dimensional solid model of an outdoor unit of an air conditioner; establishing a finite element model according to the three-dimensional solid model; importing the finite element model into the finite elementanalysis software and submitting the calculation; after the calculation is over, obtaining a modal effective mass fraction within the excitation frequency range and extracting all modal effective massfractions which are larger than a predefined threshold value; calculating a sum M of the extracted effective mass fractions of modes greater than a predefined threshold; if M is less than 90%, resetting the mode order; if M >=90%, completing the analysis, and determining the shielding point according to the extracted modal effective mass fraction which is greater than the predefined effective mass fraction threshold.
