Liquid crystal cell and manufacturing method thereof

A liquid crystal cell including a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer and a plurality of first support pillars is provided. The first substrate has a first surface and a secondsurface opposite to the first surface. The second substrate is disposed beside the first substrate and has a third surface and a fourth surface opposite to the third surface. The first surface of thefirst substrate and the third surface of the second substrate face each other. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The plurality of first support pillars are configured to form a cell gap of the liquid crystal cell and disposed on the first surface of the first substrate, wherein the first substrate and the plurality of first support pillarsare integrally formed and made of a same material.
