The 460MPa gasprotection welding wire comprises the chemical elements of, by mass, 0.02-0.14% of C, 0.41-1.00% of Si, 0.10-0.90% of Cr, 0.10-3.0% of Ni, 0-0.70% of Cu, 0.50-1.80% of Mn, 0.20-0.59% of Mo, 0-0.12% of Ti, 0-0.08% of V, 0-0.08% of Mg and the balance Fe and inevitable impurities. According to formed weld metal, the yield strength is 410-590 MPa, the tensile strength is 450-620 MPa, the ductility Ais 21-26%, and the contraction ratio of the cross section is 60-71%; and the high-temperature yield strength of the weld metal is 320-438 MPa, and the weld metal has the high low-temperature impact toughness.
