Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a beam discarding method and system in a satellite delay interruption tolerant network. When the method carries out discarding operation at each time, whether the available storage space (comprising remaining storage space and the total occupancy space of beams lower than the utility value of a new beam) of a new beam is enough to store a new beam is firstly determined; ifnot, the new beam is directly discarded to avoid invalid discarding; and if yes, with a higher utility value and more beams as a principle, a proper beam is selected in the discarded beams and is keptto avoid invalid discarding.
