TEXT ANALYSIS SYSTEM AND PROGRAM

A technology that is able to efficiently extract, from a text written in natural language, the intent or value judgment of the statement is provided. A morpheme analysis unit 12 preliminarily sets a meaning candidate tag or a sensibility subject tag to a necessary morpheme in an input text. Further, a syntax analysis unit 13 creates a clause containing meaning candidate tags and sensibility subject tags and an index 40 describing the type of each tag. A semantic attribute extraction unit 15, by reference to the index 40, recognizes a meaning candidate tag-containing clause and the tag type, then applies a semantic attribute rule so as to set a semantic attribute tag to a necessary clause, and further updates the index 40.
