Zusammenfassung:	A digital printing machine includes a first cylinder (1) for transporting sheets, a second cylinder (2) for transferring the sheets directly to the first cylinder (1), a third cylinder (3) for transferring the sheets directly to the second cylinder (2), and at least one inkjet print head (4) directed towards the first cylinder (1) for printing on the sheets disposed thereon. The digital printing machine further includes at least one first sensor (11) that measures the temperature of the first cylinder (1), a second sensor (12) that measures the temperature of the sheets while being transportedby the second cylinder (2) or by the third cylinder (3), and at least one temperature control device (5) that controls the temperature of the sheets prior to their transfer to the first cylinder (1).A control element (6) that adapts the temperature of the sheets to the temperature of the first cylinder (1) is also present.
