Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a process and device for splicing steel channels into a square tube and belongs to the field of machining. The method comprises the following steps of fixing one steel channel;mounting the steel channel onto tooling equipment which is mounted on a track of an intersecting line cutting machine; cutting beveled edges; cutting wing plates of the steel channel through the intersecting line cutting machine to form the beveled edge; welding the steel channels; and welding the two steel channels subjected to beveled edge cutting together to form the square tube. Compared withthe prior art, the process for splicing the steel channels into the square tube has the advantages that the steel channels are spliced into the square tube, and four weld seams of a traditional squaretube is reduced to two weld seams; consumption of auxiliary materials can be reduced, and the welding workload can be reduced, and the manufacturing efficiency can be improved.
