Method for deleting metadata and related devices

Embodiments of the application disclose a method for deleting metadata and related devices, used to reduce the deletion missing rate of the metadata to improve disk utilization. The method provided bythe embodiments of the application comprises: receiving a volume deletion operation request that is used to request to delete a logical volume; determining, in response to the volume deletion operation request, all metadata corresponding to the logical volume; deleting respective metadata, and deleting the reverse metadata corresponding to the respective metadata according to the correspondence between the metadata and the reverse metadata. 本申请实施例公开了种删除元数据的方法以及相关设备，用于降低元数据的漏删率以提高磁盘利用率。本申请实施例方法包括：接收卷删除操作请求，所述卷删除操作请求用于请求删除逻辑卷；响应于所述卷删除操作请求，确定与所述逻辑卷对应的所有元数据；删除所述各元数据，并根据元数据与反向元数据的对应关系，删除与所述各元数据对应的反向元数据。
