The preparation and purification methods comprise the following steps: step 1, preparation of plasmids; step 2, expression of proteins; and step 3, purification of the proteins. A G72 protein with higher purity and three mutant proteins thereof are obtained by utilizing the molecular biological technique, can be applied to a series of studies on the pathology of schizophrenia, are favorable for being developed into reagents for treating mental diseases and diagnosing and detecting mental diseases, and have wide application prospects.
