The application provides a multimedia processing system and method. The multimedia processing system comprises a toolbox and an editing module, wherein the toolbox is used for providing tools for multimedia processing; and the editing module is used for providing an interface for editing a picture of a multimedia file. The multimedia processing method comprises the following steps: displaying an editing result in response to editing performed by a user on the multimedia file picture through the tools in the toolbox; and generating a processing record according to the editing result in responseto a request of the user for saving the editing result, and adding the generated processing recording into a multimedia processed file corresponding to the multimedia file.
