Method and apparatus for maintaining session for network storage device

The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for maintaining a session for a network storage device. The method of maintaining a session for a network storage device comprises the stepsof: saving a profile of the session in the network storage device, the profile describing attributes of the session; migrating a first virtual server associated with the session from being managed bya first storage processor in the storage device to be managed by a second storage processor, the migration causing the session to be disconnected; restoring the session according to the attributes based on the saved profile; and updating the signature of the session.
