The invention discloses an automatic return door stop. The automatic return door stop comprises a door stop body and an automatic return mechanism, wherein the door stop body is of cylindrical; a cylindrical cavity is formed in the upper part of the door stop body; three grooves are formed in the outer surface below the cylindrical cavity on the door stop body; an anti-collision rubber ring is embedded in each groove; a non-slip rubber mat is arranged on the surface contacted with the ground, at the bottom of the door stop body; the automatic return mechanism is arranged in the cylindrical cavity in the upper part of the door stop body.
